Exporting the values the from the DOORS to EXCEL Sheet on the particular CELL

Hello All,

I need to export the values of the module data into the EXCEL template.

Consider the scenario that you are running the script  in the project folder path. Inside the EXCEL Template there is only one sheet you need to export.

The folder name (Eg: BON,NAME etc) inside the path should be exported under System Heading in the EXCEL template, next is the TEST heading inside the EXCEL where all the modules under the folder "TEST" should be updated.

The next two columns will be fetched from the attribute value (TEST RUN attribute).Same way for REQ modules too.

I have attached the Template where the data needa to be exported

I am not very sure how to export the data back to EXCEL to the specific cell.

Please help me out!

The information how to set the value of a specific excel cell is available in the DXL help file, section ,Automation client support", command "OlePut".

I'm afraid creating a complete solution for you is out of the scope for this forum. I'm sure you can hire a DXL specialist for coaching you into DXL and OLE programming.

As for your Excel template question: navigate to the top of this page, locate the box labeled "This forum: Search", type "Excel template" and read the second post named "How to load Excel template for exporting to excel" or the third post named "Open Excel template as a copy"

I require sample DXL for my project just to put the values in the particular template.

Is that possible?

Please help me out.
